1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
2. Under the dashboard menu, hover your mouse over Posts and then click on "Add New".
3. Enter your title in the title field and write your blog post. The title you enter here will also generate the URL path (permalink) right below it. You can change both of them later. However, if you change the permalink later on, then you will have to create a redirect. If you don't create a redirect and you have your link on your website somewhere or on a third-party website, then it will lead to a page not found. This will frustrate your visitors. This advice applies to Pages as well.
4. Scroll down to the "Tags" option and enter a tag or more, if needed. If you wish to enter multiple tags, use comma and then click on the "Add" button.
5. Select the appropriate category or click on "Add New Category".
6. Now scroll up and find "Publish". Click it.
