Adding/Editing Web Links

To add or edit a web link, enter the following information:

  • Link Name: Enter the name you wish to use for this link. For text links, this will be used as the linkable text.
  • Choose one of the following:
    • Code: If a web site has provided you with HTML code to use for a link, enter that code in the `Link Code` box. This code must be HTML code to be linkable. ex.) Check out <a href="site.com">our site</a> for great deals!
    • URL:: If you would like to enter the URL (web address) directly, enter the following information:
      • Site URL: This is the web site address that the site visitor will be linked to. It must include http:// at the beginning. (ie. http://www.site.com)
      • Image: If you want to use an image for this link instead of the link name, enter the URL here (including http://...), or click the Upload button to load an image to your site.
      • Description: Enter a description for this link if you want to display more information about the site.
  • Active: If you wish to display this link, select `Yes` for this field. Otherwise, select `No` and the link will temporarily not appear (it will not be deleted, however).
  • Order of Link: Select a number if you wish to sort your links in a particular order. The links will be displayed from 1 to 99.
