If you no longer want a domain name, you simply need to turn off the auto-renew feature and it will expire when the time comes.
Letting your domain expire means that anyone else can register it and take it over. It will no longer be registered under your name.
Click the following button to get started.
Once there:
- Click the wrench icon to the far-right of the domain name you wish to cancel.
- Click Auto Renew on the sidebar menu.
- Click Disable Auto Renew.
You may still get domain renewal notifications from us, or our parent registrar, but you can ignore those until it lapses.
